Retraction Policy

Digdaya Journal maintains a stringent retraction policy to uphold the integrity and credibility of published research. Articles will be considered for retraction if they exhibit clear evidence of unreliability, stemming from misconduct such as data fabrication or honest errors like miscalculations. Additionally, articles will be retracted if their findings have been previously published elsewhere without appropriate cross-referencing, permissions, or justifications, constituting cases of redundant publication. Plagiarism, where significant portions of content are copied without proper attribution, also warrants retraction.

Moreover, articles reporting unethical research practices, including data falsification or manipulation, unethical treatment of research subjects, or breaches of research integrity, will be subject to retraction. The retraction process follows the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring transparency, fairness, and adherence to ethical standards.

Digdaya Journal is committed to promptly issuing retraction notices in cases where retraction is deemed necessary. These notices provide clear and transparent reasons for the retraction and ensure that retracted articles are clearly marked as such and removed from the journal's website. Any subsequent versions or translations of the retracted article will also be retracted, and appropriate corrections or retractions will be issued as required.

By adhering to these principles, Digdaya Journal upholds the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and accountability in scholarly publishing.

The mechanism of retraction follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which can be accessed at COPE Retraction Guidelines.
